Privacy policy for greentile.io.

In short

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts and all other files are served from our own server. The only personal data processed are the server log files that are technically necessary when a page is requested — plus whatever YouTube receives once you start the video tour.

Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, the server records the information your browser transmits in order to deliver the page:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• the page or file requested
• the amount of data transferred
• the referrer, if your browser sends one
• the browser and operating system you use

These data are processed so that the site can be delivered, and to keep it secure, stable and free of faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technically faultless provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log data are deleted once they are no longer needed for these purposes.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. Not for functionality, not for statistics, not for advertising. That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Fonts and other resources

The fonts used here are hosted on our own server and served from there. There is no connection to Google Fonts or to any other third-party font provider, and no other content is loaded from third-party servers by default.

Video tour (YouTube)

The video on the home page loads only after you click the play button. Before that click, the page shows a preview image and nothing is requested from YouTube.

When you click play, a player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's extended privacy mode) and inserted into the page. From that moment on, YouTube — a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland — receives your IP address and information about your browser. If you are signed in to a Google account at the time, the video may be associated with that account. We have no influence over the data collected by YouTube. Details are in Google's privacy policy.

If you prefer to avoid this entirely, simply do not click play. The recording is also available directly on YouTube: youtu.be/niI0LHYb1A8 — opening that link leads to YouTube as well, but the choice is yours.

External links

This website links to external sites, in particular to GitHub and YouTube. Following such a link transmits your IP address to the destination. The privacy policies of those providers apply there.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21).
